GMT are global leaders in the supply of structure stabilising tie rods, anti-vibration mounts and shock control solutions. GMT’s structural tie rods are purpose-designed to fix walls, galleys, lavatories and hat racks to the structure of the aircraft. They are also used in the wings, flaps and undercarriage. Strong lightweight materials such as carbon fibre, titanium and aluminium are used to optimise weight and performance. GMT’s rubber to metal bonded anti-vibration mounts are used to reduce harmful vibration and noise using specially formulated rubber compounds for use in jet engines and aircraft cabins.
